EMA Builders, Inc isn't a “new" Venture anymore; we are entering our 5th year of business. With our transferring into EMA Builders in 2010 and relocating main offices to NorCal, we were faced with a great challenge in the midst of the recession AND expansion into NorCal. We SURVIVED and are FLOURISHING! EMAs core team and values are what kept us strong and successful with our commercial tenant improvement General Contracting company. We now represent NorCal and SoCal projects with fervor with our offices in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas. We excel in high-end retail showrooms, office TIs, industrial/warehouse renovations, medical spaces, and residential remodels. EMA Builders is certified as a Small Business and Minority Business Enterprise. Our President, Edmund has over 19 years of experience in the industry with a Masters Degree in Construction Management from USC. EMA's vision and practice is to be THE different General Contracting company; both in Owners and Subcontractors eyes. Edmund started his career working for companies such as Clark Construction, Abacus Project Management, CIC Associates and d'Escoto West, Inc. In 2004, he founded his first General Contracting firm, Aureus & Associates, specializing in Tenant Improvements which include Building Type A office TI's, high-end showrooms, retail spaces, industrial/warehouse offices, educational facilities, medical spaces and much much more. Within a short period of 5 years, Edmund was able to grow his business to $10 million in sales annually and expanded his business servicing areas from Greater Los Angeles to San Francisco to Sacramento and Las Vegas. In January 2009, Aureus & Associates was sold to Shangri-La Construction.
